Será que a internet acabará com a leitura de livros? Ou melhor ainda , será que acabará a leitura ou substituirá a maneira de se ler?
Para analisar isso acho que posso separar em duas vertentes, os jovens, aqueles que nasceram com a internet a todo vapor, a geração ” face “, e do outro lado as pessoas que já liam livros e são da época do “PC XT AT MS DOS c:/format *.” ou antes, quando computador era para usar o editor de texto somente.
Não vou entrar em pesquisas e teorias para colocar meu ponto de vista, afinal o que mais temos são estudos e reportagens sobre os benefícios da leitura, sobre a tecnologia e com certeza feitas por pessoas com muito mais embasamento que eu, portanto pegarei o exemplo de casa, com minhas pequenas cobaias para desenvolver com vocês alguns pontos de vista.
Minha filha pequena adora um IPAD e um IPhone , chego em casa e começa :
– ” Papai empresta Ipad? E o celula?”
Mas ela larga tudo por um livro, ela ama quando leio histórias, principalmente aqueles livros coloridos, com figuras brilhantes que pulam do livro a cada pagina virada, portanto neste momento, acho que é possível cultivar o gosto pela leitura nela, mesmo que mais para frente esta leitura seja feita de maneira tecnológica. No IPad tenho 1 programa maravilhoso chamado Histórias HD, no qual você baixa os livros e pode tanto ler como ouvir as histórias, a criança tem inclusive a mudança de pagina, minha filha fica mexendo sozinha, conhece todas as historias, mas devo confessar que mesmo assim o fascínio pelo livro de papel ainda é o que predomina. O importante é cultivar a leitura , independente da ferramenta.
Já no mundo pré-adolescente o panorama é outro, a vontade de ler é Zero, se não usar o poder de persuasão para a leitura ela não acontece, mas o engraçado é que quando começa, não para até o final . Minha de livro para esta idade de 10/11 anos é a coleção do Diário de um Banana, uma leitura bem fácil , com elementos da própria idade, o que ajuda também são os gibis, principalmente aqueles que possuem uma mensagem subliminar ( ontem comprei um do casal Cebola e Mônica que passam por bulling), mas preciso confessar que se não estiver ao lado incentivando/ insistindo, os adolescente não irão ler, fato. Pode ser que na faculdade desenvolvam novamente esta aptidão , apesar de incentivar não apostaria num consumo muito grande , o negocio hoje é se comunicar no ” face”.
Acho que um caminho muito bacana que podemos seguir junto aos jovens para tentar despertar o interesse deles , é o mundo da ficção, pois hoje estão sendo lançados uma serie de livros contando historias de personagens de games que eles costumam jogar, o que facilita o interesse. Temos também estas ” Soap Novels” de vampiros, duendes entre outras como Crepúsculo, Game of Thrones, Hobbit e outras histórias para adolescentes que estão em alta e também chamam atenção.
Se não dermos a devida atenção e o exemplo, a conseqüência da falta de leitura , será a perda da capacidade de se comunicar e escrever bem, infelizmente.
Agora no meu caso, sou um devorador de livros e revistas, claro que alguns momentos mais , outros menos. Adoro revistas de tecnologia, viagens , historia e posso dizer que substitui 80 % desta leitura de ” papel”, por leitura no IPad, não foi por facilidades que o tablet oferece, mas sim por não ter mais espaço para guardar tantas revistas, o revisteiro dos dois banheiros estão cheios, o da sala já esta rasgando e o meu armário já esta acontecendo uma pancadaria entre livros, roupas e revistas.
Já no quesito livro, eu ainda me encanto com o livro de papel, é claro que até tenho livros no IPad e estou forçando uma barra para fazer esta transição , pois além de ser mais fácil de guardar e consultar também é mais cômodo para adquirir, porém a magia e a sedução do livro ainda não me permite isso, ainda gosto de todo o processo de leitura do livro, de virar a pagina, da exclusividade , você e o livro sem a interferência de aplicativos, email apitando, twitter chamando e etc.
Portanto, a minha opinião sobre este assunto é que inevitavelmente acontecerá esta substituição de leitura, que passará a ocorrer nos tablets, não sei precisar quando, e as crianças independente onde irão ler, devem ser incentivadas ( obrigadas ) a ler , pois só desta maneira irão abrir sua mente, clarear a maneira de pensar, além de passar a escrever e se comunicar melhor, mas acredite, seu papel é fundamental, ache um ponto de interesse deste jovem e tente inserir leituras deste assunto, seja com livros ou revistas.
